Abstract

The study's main goal is to discover if there are any major mean variations in job satisfaction among supermarket employees based on their personal characteristics. The positivistic paradigm and Quantitative method adopted in this study. The testing instrument was a questionnaire and this research employed independent samples t- test and one-way ANOVA to test the propositions. According to the findings, there is a substantial mean gap in
workers' perceptions of work satisfaction based on their age. (p = 0.045), level of education (p = 0.001), and marital status (p = 0.001), and in contrast on the basis of gender, there is no substantial mean variation in employee perceptions of work satisfaction (p = 0.81), occupation level (p = 0.2), and job tenure (p = 0.755). Furthermore, researchers proposed that when writing employee policy, management should consider the variations in work satisfaction among people with different personal characteristics.
