Abstract

Several companies faced threats represented by events and disasters that struck the countries of the world and had an impact on the delay in the companies' activities. As the most important of them included delays in the supply of raw materials and finished products in a way that causes delays in production processes and the dates of delivery of products to the customer. Which requires these companies to identify these threats and avoid them in the future, so the goal of the current research was crystallized in diagnosing some of these risks and threats (demand risks, supply risks, process risks, environmental risks). According to the point of view of the managers in the General Company for the manufacture of medicines and medical supplies in Samarra, based on the research problem, which included the answer to a set of questions preceded by the question: What are the risks that the supply chain is exposed to from the point of view of the departments of the company in question? In order to answer this question, along with other questions, research hypotheses were formulated and then tested, as the checklist was used as a main tool to collect the necessary data and information from the research sample, and the research reached a number of conclusions that were considered the basic building block To make proposals that may serve the researched field and in a way that makes them consistent with those conclusions.
