Presently in human existence, stress has become a part. It is turning into a worldwide marvel influencing all kinds of individuals. In regular day to day existence, working individuals need to confront numerous circumstances, where they use adapting techniques to emerge from that. Unpleasant circumstances put them under huge stress. The monster is more prevalent among university workers especially the non-teaching staff. The present study aimed to examine role stress experienced by non-teaching working in Deemed to be Universities of Odisha, and coping strategies adopted by them. Investigation was meant to comprehend the theoretical structure of stress and adapting, to discover connection between elements of job stress and adapting and to distinguish reasons for stress. Descriptive research design was adopted. By using primary and secondary Data it was collected by using questionnaire method. Major findings revealed that role stress has positive causes among occupational and individual stress.
