Abstract

Open innovation plays vital role in efficient operations of firms. Exploring the changes in firms' dynamic capabilities in response to the covid-19 crisis and their subsequent effects on open innovation may provide valuable insights into how firms can enhance their resilience and innovation capabilities in the face of
unexpected disruptions. Therefore, the current study investigates how dynamic capabilities of the firms affect open innovation in pre and post-cocvid period. By employing regression analysis, the study discover that technological competency, eco-innovation, and digital innovation are major drivers of open innovation processes.
