Abstract

The synthesis of nano particles has received a lot of attention in recent years due to its different physicochemical properties and its applications in different areas. In the present study, we synthesis the pure of Zn doped MgO nano particles by hydrothermal method and examined the advances in adapting these nano materials for various optoelectronic applications, followed by characterization studies. The materials were characterized by X-ray diffraction analysis in powder. Optical properties were determined using UVVis and photoluminescence (PL) techniques. FTIR spectra have confirmed the formation of MgO nano particles by showing their characteristic peaks corresponding to Fourier transform infrared (FTIR). The morphological properties of the prepared material system were study using scanning electron microscope (SEM) technology. Zn-doped MgO nano particles were verified by EDX techniques. Magnetic analyse of the samples were carried out by magnetometers with vibrating samples in which the magnetizations (Ms) decreasing with increasing Zn concentration. These type of nano material that can be efficiently produced using nanotechnology technique are more durable, lighter, more conductive, and stronger and have a lot of different individuality with several applications can be used and possesses excellent properties in chemical and mechanical properties and could be a valuable product applied in medical science, engineering, sensors, electronics as well as in photo-electronics. These new materials are brought into use and have industrial applications due to their existing high quality and the exceptionally low cost of introducing new materials.
