Uses of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology have grown all over the healthcare industry and are getting more prevalent in contemporary business and daily life. By enabling healthcare providers, AI has the ability to enhance patient care and a number of administrative procedures. The methods they support can differ greatly, even though many AI-driven healthcare technologies are extremely pertinent to the industry. Some studies suggest that AI can perform as well as or even better than humans in specific tasks, such as disease diagnosis. However, it will take several years before AI can replace human involvement in a broad range of medical procedures. AI aims to replicate human cognitive abilities and capabilities, driving a shift in healthcare by improving access to medical services, leveraging vast amounts of healthcare data, and advancing analytical techniques. Key areas where AI techniques are being applied include cardiology, cancer treatment, and neurology. Additionally, this paper reviews AI applications in healthcare, examines ethical concerns related to its implementation, and explores various AI systems used in the field.
