Fintech is a technology-enabled financial solution that has implications for the future of the global financial system and has become a policy concern. The two main forces behind the present significant transition of the financial services sector are digitization and sustainability. This bibliometric analysis investigates the evolving landscape of research at the intersection of financial technology (fintech) and sustainability. By systematically examining publications, citations, and author networks, this study aims to identify key trends, influential works, and emerging areas within this interdisciplinary field. Utilizing the databases Scopus, we compile a comprehensive dataset of research articles and reviews from the past decade. Research activity has significantly increased, according to the data, as more people realize how fintech may help achieve the goals of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The influence of artificial intelligence on sustainable investment strategies, the usage of mobile banking to improve financial inclusion, and the significance of blockchain in promoting efficiency and transparency in green finance are some of the major themes that have been discovered. Co-citation and co-authorship network analyses uncover prominent researchers and collaborative clusters, highlighting the interdisciplinary nature of the field. Along with addressing gaps in the literature, the article makes recommendations for future research topics.
